Since our first collection, launched in 2000, we have built a loyal community of women based on our core brand beliefs.

LM collections are designed, patterned and sampled in Sydney, Australia - where our company is still 100% owned and operated -
including our print development for our key silk, linen and cotton pieces.
LM designs revolve around high quality, natural woven textiles.  We source our signature cotton and linens from Japan, silks from China, wool from Australia and Italy and cashmere from Italy.  We aim to work with small mills who are experts in their craft.
.
We use natural textiles because we believe simplicity is best.  Natural fibres are far superior for their exceptional characteristics; they are soft, durable and extremely lightweight.  They are proven to be less toxic to our bodies than synthetics, and provide us with the ultimate comfort; they breathe with the wearer from summer to winter.  Given the correct care, our garments cut from natural fibres can last generations, to become keepsakes, as all good design should be.
.
Benefits of wearing natural fibres:
- Durability
-Absorbency
- Regulation of body temperatures
- Biodegradable

LM strives to use organic textiles, keeping the issue of environmental sustainability at the forefront of our minds and everything we do. Our waste is mitigated and where possible, recycled.

Our efforts in social sustainability  involve more than just our regular support for not-for-profit organisations aiming to improve social welfare. Our efforts are mirrored in our suppliers and third party partners, who employ craftsmen from every corner of the globe; weavers from Spain, leather tanners in Italy, furniture makers in Indonesia. Skills are nurtured, work conditions are safe and wages are fair.

Sincere, considered, timeless, ethical.
